Fairfield High School is looking to appointment a Deputy SENDCO to support the SENDCO in delivering outstanding outcomes for SEND pupils.  This is a one year fixed term post from 01/09/2026 to 31/08/2027.  The allowance for this post is a TLR2A (£3,527 per year). 

Key Responsibilities:

· To support in ensuring that the learners at Fairfield High School are receiving the correct and relevant SEN support.

· To assist in the completion of statutory documentation and returns.

· To assist in the completing of referrals relevant to different departments in relation to SEN.

· To support the SENDCo in their role and provide additional leadership capacity within the SEN Department.

Candidates must have full QTS and either knowledge/experience of Access training arrangements or a willingness to learn. Successful candidate will teach for 27 hours per fortnight.
